The
Physical Education Intramural Program for boy’s and girls in
fourth and fifth grade will be held on Tuesday (GIRLS) and Wednesday BOYS) afternoon and Friday mornings (BOYS).
The
purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for
all students to participate in their favorite group and
individual activities. This program is a privilege
and a great place to further develop their sports skills
and interests in extracurricular sports activities.
We teach sportsmanship and teamwork as the majority of
activities are team related. The activities will
vary throughout the year and are based upon activities
learned in Physical Education at Windom.
The reason for twoo boys sessions and one girls session is strictly due to enrollment numbers.
The Tuesday and Wednesday sessions are afterschool from 3:15 to 4:15,
while Friday's session is before school 8:15am to 9:15am. The
students may be dropped off at school at 8:20am or ride the "early" bus
to the middle school where they can pick up a Windom early bus in
the front circle. This bus will deliver the students to Windom
Elementary. The students are to wait in the cafeteria, please do not
arrive earlier as the students will not be supervised.
The program will begin
September and will continue through the end of May. I
hope to see all the students at some point throughout the
year!!!
