Hello from your school librarian! I am excited to begin my 13th year at Eggert and my 14th year as a school librarian.

My job is to collaborate with teachers on research projects, build a collection that is aligned with the classroom curriculum and available for all library users, as well as assist students in becoming lifelong learners and readers of the 21st century. I look forward to working with many students, teachers, and parents throughout the school year.

Growing up, I attended South Davis Elementary and continued my education in Orchard Park up through High School. I have my Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Fredonia and my Master of Library Science from SUNY Buffalo. I am an avid sports fan and especially love baseball (Let's Go Mets!) and hockey (Go Sabres!).

My favorite vacation spot is Ocracoke Island in the Outer Banks, although after visiting Europe on my honeymoon, I may have a new favorite - France!

I have many beloved elementary books, but my top three are The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate, The Witches by Roald Dahl (my favorite author!), and Number the Stars by Lois Lowry.

My husband and I enjoy spending time with our French bulldogs, Zoey and Monet.
