- The first person to contact should be your child’s teacher. In most cases, your child’s teacher will be able to provide the most “real-time” information. If more information is needed, your child’s teacher may bring other individuals into the conversation.

- My child is in an Out of District placement and I have a question about his/her Who should I contact?
- Similar to the answer above, the first line of contact should be your child’s teacher. From there, if need be, the administrator of the program would be appropriate. Of course, if you are having difficulty, you can always reach out to the Director of Special Education in OPCSD

- When is my child’s open house?
- All Open House information, for in-district students, will be sent home by the building. For students who are in out of district placements, your Open House will be the night of the Open House held at the building your child’s program is located. All of these dates are listed on the link on our main web-site under the tab titled Welcome Back Letter 2019-20.

1. High School Special Education night (dates will be sent to all 8th grade parents/guardians in advance of this meeting) and your child’s team at the middle school.
